PaliA (Original Soundtrack)

Steffen Schmidt's latest soundtrack, released by Singularity 6, for cozy sim MMO game Palia, is now available on all major streaming platforms.  The creation of this score was the culmination of a three-year journey collaborating with musicians from around the world. In addition to recording at legendary stages like Synchron Stage Vienna and Abbey Road Studios in London, Steffen had the opportunity to record somewhere that is very dear to his heart, Seoul, South Korea, where he recorded Korean traditional percussion for an in-game event called the Maji Market.

BLINDSIDED: THE GAME

Featured thrilling soundtrack piece from Eric Jacobus's feature with over 13 MILLION views, Blindsided: The Game score journeys through shadowy alleys of suspense, sudden bursts of martial vigor, motifs, and haunting tension. The music supports our blind hero Walter as he moves through a world of gambling dens, gangsters, and hidden danger—each track shifting from minimal, atmospheric underscore to full-throttle percussion and strings when the blade is drawn. This soundtrack is equal parts introspection and action.

HIDDEN PICTURES: AGENT Q

Hidden Pictures: Agent Q features a richly varied soundtrack that mirrors the game’s tonal tapestry. From sleek, spy-score motifs to breezy bossa nova, upbeat J-rock, and beyond, the music navigates between tension, whimsy, and wonder. It underscores your journey as Agent Q across miniature dioramas, rhythm duels, and puzzle-laden investigations—following every clue, confrontation, and triumph against the invading Tumai as you restore the Galaxy Orb and bring peace to the asteroids.

STAR TREK VOYAGER: MUSIC TRIBUTE

A heartfelt tribute from composer Steffen Schmidt, this project celebrates one of Star Trek: Voyager’s most iconic moments through a modern reinterpretation featuring his longtime friend and series co-star Robert Picardo (“The Doctor”). A lifelong Voyager fan himself, Steffen brings new emotional depth and cinematic scope to the scene — a gesture that has resonated deeply with fans, earning over 40k views on YouTube and widespread praise for its authenticity and devotion to the spirit of the original series.

81st VENICE FILM FESTIVAL : IN THE REALM OF RIPLEY

At the 81st Venice Film Festival, In the Realm of Ripley made its world premiere in the Venice Immersive section, boldly entering the realm of extended reality and interactive narrative.


This Korean thriller, directed by Chae Soo-eung (aka Chuck Chae), invites audiences to step into the fractured memories of a brain-dead boy named Si-hyuk, who is the only witness to a decades-old murder. 


Selected among 64 projects from 25 countries for Venice Immersive, In the Realm of Ripley exemplifies the festival’s push into XR storytelling and challenges viewers to uncover reality through choice and perception.

BEYOND DRIVEN

Beyond Driven is a feature documentary that chronicles the groundbreaking life of Lella Lombardi, the trailblazing Formula 1 driver who, in 1975, became the first (and to date only) woman to score world championship points in F1. 


The score amplifies an emotional arc to the story of Lella. It shifts between propulsive, tension-laden motifs during race sequences and more reflective, intimate textures for personal interludes. The featured track "G-FORCES" is marked as one of the highlights of the score.

IN DREAMS VR

In Dreams is an immersive VR experience by Newmatic Co., Ltd., inspired by Eastern philosophies and expressed through breathtaking VR animation. The project transports participants into a meditative dreamscape—an artistic journey between consciousness and imagination.


The original score  Steffen Schmidt complements this vision with sweeping orchestral colors, evoking the sensation of floating through vast, ethereal worlds. "FLYING WHALES" is the featured track for this score.
